Martyn Proctor - Managing Director su53 Solutions

As Managing Director, Martyn leads su53 Solutions in its strategic direction, bringing 25 years experience of business around IT services. Martyn was previously Director of Propositions and Innovation at Serco, where he chaired the Offshore Services Board, trained staff in an innovative thinking, and took an early lead bid role in some of Sercos multi hundred million pound strategic outsourcing engagements.

At service provider ITNET Martyn identified new ideas and growth potential for the SAP team: the Board accepted his proposals to develop an entirely new Business Unit to tackle the growing SAP^® market of the late 1990s, and under his leadership this Division grew by over 800%, winning SAP Partner of the Year status in 2003. The team grew to a 200+ person team, leading the UK in a number of market sectors and in managed SAP services.

Prior to ITNET, Martyn had been Sales & Marketing Director and co-owner of a 60 person Systems Integration business. His first role however was with ICL, leaving his University background in Civil Engineering & Operational Research to take up what started as a role in applications with ICL: in the following ten years, Martyns role evolved and ultimately he became one of the companys leading sales performers in the UK, managing some of ICLs largest clients.

Martyn brings leadership, commercial experience, innovative thinking, sales & marketing knowledge, and 7 years learning as executive sponsor for SAP^® projects and services, ranging from minor enhancements to £25m transformation programmes. From London originally, Martyn now lives in Staffordshire.
