Gavin is su53 Solutions’ Director responsible for company operations, finance and GRC service innovation, as well as leading service delivery as one of the UK’s most experienced Compliance Architects.

Gavin has an impressive breadth of experience, joining a global Accountancy & Audit partnership as a post-graduate from Queen’s Belfast and Notre Dame Indiana, before developing in depth SAP BASIS skills en route to a focused career plan to become a lead thinker in SAP related GRC, audit and security. Gavin’s capability has recently been validated in his success in CISA and CISM examinations.

Born in Ireland, Gavin has gone on to work with a large number of organisations across the world, from Canberra to Copenhagen. This breadth of exposure to client SAP systems and the various attitudes, abilities, process and practices around risk management has given Gavin an unrivalled perspective on what makes up real best-practice. His combination of financial, audit and IT technical understanding makes Gavin one of the most valuable experts in the SAP security industry today.

Gavin previously managed an international multi-centre, multi-service provider team supporting SAP compliance across Europe for a global FMCG organisation under Sarbanes Oxley regulations.

Gavin brings massive enthusiasm and passion for driving standards for SAP security, seeking innovative new ways of helping organisations reduce costs whilst improving the management of risks. He now lives in Newry, Northern Ireland.
